Vancouver Lacrosse Club Names Warriors as New Team Name

The Vancouver Lacrosse Club of the National Lacrosse League (NLL) has re-branded the team as the Vancouver Warriors as part of an ownership transition that sees Vancouver Canucks Sports and Entertainment become the club's principal owners. 

The team unveiled its new name and logo at Rogers Arena, where they will play their home games beginning this season, at a press conference this morning.

The Warriors open the 2018-19 regular season at home when the Toronto Rock come to town on Saturday, Dec. 8. 

The BCJALL looks forward to continuing working with the team and the league to help develop and grow the game of lacrosse.
