Two trades this week as Junior A teams pass midway point of season

Four teams were involved in trades this week in the BC Junior A Lacrosse League.

The Delta Islanders and New Westminster Salmonbellies were involved in the first trade.

  • Delta receives the Junior A and Junior B Tier 1 playing rights to Simon Poole and CJ Fahlke along with New Westminster’s second-round selection in the 2025 Junior Entry Draft (if New West has multiple selections the second round on the day of the draft, Delta will receive the earliest selection in the round) and New Westminster’s fourth-round selection in the 2026 Junior Entry Draft, along with future considerations.
  • New Westminster receives the Junior A playing rights to Chase Miller, along with future considerations.

Meanwhile, the Burnaby Lakers and Langley Thunder also swapped players this week.

  • Burnaby received the Junior A playing rights of goalkeeper Brayden Wandler from Langley.
  • Langley received the Junior A and Junior B Tier 1 playing rights of Ryan Sheldrake from Burnaby, along with Burnaby’s first round selection in the 2026 Junior Entry Draft.
