The Langley Thunder have turned to the Poco Saints once again in their quest to reach the Minto Cup, this time acquiring Carson Rees in exchange for a draft pick and Future Considerations. Rees joins Clark Walter as recent acquisitions by the Thunder, who currently sit tied for second in the BCJALL with a 10-7 record and are looking to reinforce their squad so they can play in the National Championships taking place in their own backyard.

Rees is having a breakout year and is coming off being named the 1st star of the week. He had 10 goals and 30 points in 10 games while shooting at a strong 23% clip. Poco adds another draft pick to its arsenal as they currently sit in 7th with a 3-14 record. It will also give players like Garrett Winter and Jacob Dunbar more reps and opportunities to have the ball in their stick in order to become bigger threats in the coming year.
