Thunder Look to Snap 5 Game Losing Skid
Township of Langley, BC (Thursday, June 4, 2015) – The Langley Thunder (2-8-1) will try to snap a five game losing streak when they host the Delta Islanders (9-2) tonight at the Langley Events Centre. Face-off is at 8:00PM and can be streamed live online (here).
The Thunder play their second game in as many nights as they dropped a 13-4 decision in Coquitlam last night. Alex Gresham scored two goals and Alex Gibbs and a goal and an assist in the defeat.
Last Saturday Langley lost 18-9 against the Islanders in their first of the three meetings this season. James Rahe scored a game-high seven points as the skilled forward leads the team in Goals (15), Assists (19) and Points (34).
Delta sits in second place with 18 points with their only two losses of the season coming against the first place Adanacs. The Islanders have the BCJALL’s leading scorer in Tre Leclaire, who has 53 points in 11 games this season.
