Thunder Acquire Clark Walter

by Owen Munro

The Langley Thunder have added one of the bigger chips available for trade in the BCJALL by acquiring Clark Walter from the Port Coquitlam Saints. The move completes the Future Considerations portion of the deal made between the two teams in December when the Saints sent Nick Scott across the Golden Ears Bridge.

Walter has had a strong start to the season since re-joining the Saints, culminating in being named this week's 2nd star. He added to his torrid pace by chipping in a goal and two assists in his final game with the black and yellow in a 15-4 loss to Coquitlam. He will add another threat to Langley's lineup and can be a guy who plays either a starring or secondary role.
