T-Men Earn One Point

60 Minutes wouldn't solve it and neither would overtime on Sunday afternoon at the Langley Events Centre where the Timbermen and Thunder would finish in a 10-10 tie, earning both teams one point each.

In the first period both teams would answer each others goals with the Thunder getting the upper hand going into the second with a 3-2 lead, Adam Goila and Dane Sorensen getting on the board for the Timbermen.

During the second period it would be much more of the same with the Thunder up 6-5 following 40 minutes of play. Connor Leies, Dane Sorensen, Colin Munro and Darrin Wilson all getting in the scoring action for the Timbermen.

In the final frame the Timbermen would get the early nod by Dane Sorensen followed by Connor Leies to take the lead. But the Thunder would push back with three unanswered goals to take back the lead 8-7. With 7:30 to go in the third Monty Chisholm would tie things up and send things to overtime.

In the first overtime at 8:16 Dylan Lacroix would score to give the Thunder the lead followed by a goal at 3:31 by Daryl Defretias evening things up; and that was "all she wrote."

Timbermen were without Brett Hawrys, Cody Short, Brody Glemntiz and Nick Kapusty while call-up Colin Munro would score this first BCJALL Goal.

Next up the Timbermen travel to Victoria on Tuesday to take on the 3rd place Shamrocks who are currently 8-4 on the year.
