The Junior A Timbermen will have some new faces on offense this year and some returning players will take on a bigger role than they've had in the past.
Two players who will have bigger roles this year will be Darrin Wilson and Cody Short. Short had a strong rookie campaign putting up 13 goals and 16 assists in 19 games. Those totals were good for 7th in team scoring. Darrin Wilson had 3 goals and 9 assists in 12 games in 2014.
Newcomer, Monty Chisholm, comes to the Timbermen from Kamloops of the TOJLL.
Nanaimo’s home opener is Saturday May 2nd against the Delta at the Nanaimo Ice Centre.
