Shamrocks Unveil Retro Jersey for Alumni Night

The Victoria Junior Shamrocks have unveiled a special retro jersey, encompassing features from Minto Cup winners 1962 Shamrocks, 1976 Macdonalds Bread and the 1988 Victoria-Esquimalt Legion. Players from the '88 team will be in attendance and recognized on the 30th anniversary of that special championship. It will be worn during the Rocks home game against Langley on Saturday at 4:00 at The Q Centre.

Players like Grant Hamilton, Greg and Grant Pepper and Darren Reisig will be in attendance - and there will be a tailgate party in the parking lot, hosted by Mr. Mike's Langford location. 

Team pictures will be available for fans, and players will be available post-game to talk and sign the pictures.  Prior to the Jr. ‘A’ game, the Tier 1 Jr. ‘B’ Shamrocks will be in action at 1:00 against the Maple Ridge Burrards.  Minor players can come early and have their shots timed in the box between 11:00 and 12:00.  

A full day of lacrosse history and action at the 100.3 The Q Centre, Saturday, June 30.  Minor players, wearing a team jersey can get half-price admission for one parent.
