Shamrocks Name Tyson Leies as New Head Coach
The Victoria Shamrocks are pleased to announce that Tyson Leies is the new Head Coach.
Tyson comes to us from the Intermediate A Shamrocks Club where he led the team as the Head Coach to three Provincial Championships in the last five seasons. As a player, he was instrumental in winning a Minto Cup Championship with the OLA's St. Catherine Athletics team in 1990.
Tyson continued to demonstrate his love of the game by playing twelve seasons with the Victoria Senior Shamrocks and experienced the thrill of being a part of the winning team who captured three Mann Cup Championships in 1997, 1999 and 2003. In 2004, Tyson played in the National Lacrosse League with the Calgary Roughnecks, winning the Champions Cup.
We are very excited to have Tyson as our new Head Coach. His success as both a player and coach in the past will serve him well as our quest for a Minto Cup national title continues.
