Season Hits 2/3 Mark

With the teams hitting the two third mark of the season, Surrey and Burnaby are starting to separate themselves from the rest of the pack.

Victoria is next, five points back of the two front runners and two of their next three games are against Surrey. These two games will determine if the Shamrocks have a chance at first place. After that, all the Shamrocks games are against opponents who are below them in the standings.

Port Coquitlam and Coquitlam (14 pts) and New Westminster and Delta (10 pts) make up the next four teams. Of these teams PoCo has the toughest schedule, playing Victoria (3X), Surrey (2x) and Burnaby once.

The Nanaimo Timbermen have had a tough time in their expansion year but their past few games have seen them come closer to victory than earlier in the season.

Victoria Shamrocks host Surrey Stickmen on Saturday which will be the game of the week.
