Rick Lum New Commissioner

The British Columbia Junior A Lacrosse League is pleased to announce the appointment of Rick Lum as the new Commissioner for the 2010 season.

Lum brings an extensive portfolio of lacrosse experience to the table, spanning 36 years and all through the ranks from Junior A to the NLL as a coach, referee, and player.

Recently Lum was appointed to the Washington Stealth as the teams advanced scout and video coordinator, leaving behind 9 years of refereeing at the NLL level.

In 1996 Lum was named BC Lacrosse Officials Referee of the Year, and has spent the last few seasons on the bench for the Coquitlam Adanacs who enjoyed a 20-1 season in 2009 and represented BC at the Minto Cup. Lum replaces Al Lang who will stay with the BCJALL as League President.
