Playoff schedule announced for 2024 playoffs

The BC Junior A Lacrosse League has announced its 2024 playoff schedule, with two best-of-seven semifinal series getting underway Wednesday July 17.

The first-place Coquitlam Adanacs (15-3) have home-floor advantage facing the fourth-place Burnaby Lakers (10-7-1), while the second-place Port Coquitlam Saints (12-5-1) have home-floor advantage playing the Nanaimo Timbermen (11-7).

The winners of both semifinal series will advance to the best-of-five final BCJALL series and both earn spots in the 2024 Minto Cup being hosted in Coquitlam Aug. 17-24.

Burnaby edged Coquitlam in the three regular season meetings this year, 2-1, handing the Adanacs two of their three regular season losses by winning two one-goal games (6-5, 9-8); Coquitlam won the most recent meeting (10-7).

Meanwhile, the Saints and Timbermen met twice this year with Port Coquitlam winning both meetings (12-6, 11-8).
