Peter Tellis Takes Over as Adanacs Bench Boss

The Coquitlam Junior Adanacs have announced Peter Tellis will be taking over head coaching duties for the 2021 season. Tellis was set to become an Assistant Coach for the 2020 season under Kyle Sorensen's direction before the season was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Tellis has an extensive coaching record and takes over a Coquitlam team hungry to return to the Minto Cup. He was given the Dorothy Robertson Award, presented annually to the top coach in the WLA, during his final season with the Burnaby Lakers in 2019. 

He will take over for Pat Coyle, who moved on to become the Head Coach of Coquitlam's WLA club.
