Parker Steps Down as Salmonbellies Coach
The New Westminster Jr A Salmonbellies Lacrosse General Manager Doug Zack today announced that Brad Parker has stepped down as Head Coach of the team.
"Brad has taken on additional responsibilities as Police Chief in Port Moody and is unable to fully commit to his position as head coach. Brad has made the tough decision to take a leave of absence from coaching," continued Zack.
Brad has played a key role in the organization the past four years, leading the Intermediate A Bellies to back-to-back provincial championships, before guiding the Jr A team to the league finals last year.
Effective immediately, Dan Perrault will assume the head coaches position, Dan joined the team in November, after successflly coaching the past three years as head coach in Coquitlam.
Dan currently is an assistant coach with the Colorado Mammoth of the NLL. Ray Porcellato and Jason Dallavalle will remain with the team in their capacity as assistant coaches.
