OJALL: Brampton Fires Back in Big Game 3 Road Win

The Brampton Excelsiors showed some of that much-needed experience gained in last year's Minto Cup to claw their way back into their best-of-7 semifinal series with Orangeville, doubling up the Northmen 8-4 at the Bunny Barn.

It didn't look that way at first; the Northmen scored the first four goals of the game and the Excelsiors hadn't even put a ball behind Samuel Crispo until two minutes into the second period. The tables indeed turned, with Orangeville not scoring after going up 4-0 at the 1:57 mark of the second. Brampton went on to put up eight unanswered goals with five of them coming in the middle frame. Special Teams played a big role as well, as Brampton put up a pair of markers both with a man down and a man advantage.

The series shifts back to Brampton tonight with the Northmen looking to take a 3-1 series lead. Game 5 will be back in Orangeville on Friday with a potential game 6 and 7 coming Sunday and Monday.
