The only two remaining undefeated teams in the BCJALL, the Coquitlam Adanacs and New Westminster Salmonbellies have managed to maintain their #2 and #3 spots (respectively) in the Subway LacrosseTalk National Rankings this week. Both teams are still awaiting the return of a few big names before they face each other on June 1st, the first time since the BCJALL final last season in which the Adanacs advanced to the Minto Cup in Brampton.
A tie and two wins have helped the Victoria Shamrocks climbed the ranks this week, up to number 7 from 10; in addition to the National Rankings the Shamrocks are now temporary co-habitants of first place in the BCJALL, sharing the spot with the Lakers. Following a road loss in Port Coquitlam on the weekend, the other island team moved one spot in the opposite direction, as the Nanaimo Timbermen went from 8th spot to 9th.
They have eleven points which ties them with Victoria for top spot in the BCJALL, but the Burnaby Lakers dropped six spots in the National Rankings this week, sliding from fourth to tenth place after three consecutive losses this week.
