It's with great honour that the British Columbia Junior A Lacrosse League has named the Executive of the Year award to the Harry Ferguson Memorial Award. 

Harry was a tireless worker for dozens of years, and a hallmark of class and excellence. This award is given in his name so we will always remember and celebrate the contributions, many of them unnoticed, Harry gave to the game of lacrosse. 

He was an incredible ambassador for the game and well-known and cherished in many lacrosse circles. Many years after playing, he was still dedicating his time to the rink in a number of positions - referee, coach, commissioner. 

The Langley Thunder executive exemplify all of what this award is about. Langley continues to build an organization that prides itself on known as a classy with a culture that breeds success. That is embodied in the coaches and players that represent the Black and Blue, and all of that is owed to the work done behind the scenes by a great group of people. 

The BCJALL couldn't be more pleased to give this award to a well-deserving team and of all the others teams in the League who work to make things happen all year round.
