Played 4 years of Junior lacrosse for the Coquitlam Adanacs, won Rookie of the Year Award. Sean is a smart and athletic left hander and offensive threat. Attended and played NCAA Division 1 lacrosse at Hobart College in Geneva, New York on a scholarship.
This is what the NLL had said about Sean before he was drafted 16th overall by the Toronto Rock;
Sean Robinson – Hobart College, New Westminster Salmonbellies (WLA) & Coquitlam Adanacs (BCJALL) A former attempted draft pick of the Portland Lumberjax (74th overall in 2008), Robinson spent the last couple years at Hobart, a secondary scoring threat with the three-time defending West champion New Westminster Salmonbellies. The 16th overall pick in the 2009 WLA draft, Robinson has potential to be a 20-goal guy in the NLL (and WLA), a good asset on the power-play and capable of taking the odd draw if needed too
