Islanders Announce 2nd Offensive Coach

The Delta Islanders Jr A Lacrosse Club, and head coach Shaun Springett, are pleased to announce that Yul Baker has agreed to join the Junior A coaching staff for the upcoming 2012 season. Yul will help take on the offensive coaching reins with Sean Robinson.

His playing resume includes, 1992 played for the U19 Team Canada. Won a Minto Cup in 1992 with the Six Nation Arrows, then played the rest of his Junior A years with the Burnaby Lakers making the ALL-STAR TEAM every year.

Yul also played Senior A lacrosse for the North Shore Indians, (who are now known as the WLA Langley Thunder). In 1997 he played for the Rochester Knighthawks and won the NLL World Championship. Yul also played for the NLL Vancouver Ravens. Won the Presidents Cup in 2001 with the North Shore Indians.
