Huge Honours for Former Jr. 'Bellies
The extremely prestigious awards just keep on coming for recent Jr. Bellies players now combining education and lacrosse at NCAA Division 1 schools.
Last week the US Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association named 2009 Jr. Bellies grad Kevin Crowley the winner of the Lt. Raymond Enners Award as the 2010 Most Outstanding Player in NCAA DI Men’s Lacrosse. Earlier in the week, Kevin who is junior at Stony Brook University in New York was named 1st Team All-American. Kevin was also one of five finalists for the highest NCAA Men's Lacrosse award; the Tewaaraton Trophy.
Kevin’s current Stony Brook teammate and former Jr. Bellie teammate Jordan McBride was named 3rd Team All-American.
Finally 2009 Jr. Bellie Curtis Dickson joined Kevin as one of the five finalists for the Tewaaraton Award. Last week Curtis capped his college career with his graduation ceremonies, having earned a degree in Political Science, and by being named 2nd Team All-American.
