Game of the Week: Langley travels to Palace on Poirier
The undefeated Langley Thunder face their biggest test of a young season, traveling to the Palace on Poirier tonight to take on the purple and gold tonight.
Both teams currently sit undefeated in the BCJALL with matching 2-0 records. Both clubs are also coming off strong wins, with the Thunder getting past Port Coquitlam 9-5 and the A's looking equally impressive in a 16-5 drubbing of the Nanaimo Timbermen. It will be a big step up in competition for each team, and the one who looks ready to take on the challenge will likely emerge victorious tonight.

The Thunder to your lightning
Tonight's game represents a great chance for Langley to show they can play with the big boys. In our season preview, we had Langley third, and knowing they can compete in high-intensity games will go a long way to contributing to that high placement.
They have an offence that can be explosive from one through five on the floor, and Langley's transition game has been good enough so far. Nathan Mckeigan, Mackenzie Rope and Mitch McDole have combined for 11 goals and 27 total points in two games, and that will give Coquitlam headaches if they can get going tonight.
Add guys like Ryan Martel, Sekawnee Baker and Dawson Rodin, all guys who can crash and bang in the offensive system? We should see fireworks tonight.
Can experience trump energy?
You can beat Langley has had this game scheduled on the calendar since the release of the BCJALL schedule in January. Coquitlam on the other hand probably won't take this game with the same grain of salt, but will that be enough to knock off the defending Minto Cup champs?
It will be Pat Coyle's job to get the troops ready to go from the first whistle.
Prediction: Coquitlam is troubled at times by Langley's O, but a good performance from Del Bianco and some timely goals give the A's an 11-8 win.
