Dalzell joints Saints

The Port Coquitlam Saints executive are extremely pleased to announce that Rob Dalzell has joined their team's coaching staff. Rob brings a wealth of lacrosse knowledge to the Saints organization. He had a successful playing career and has coached many minor lacrosse teams.

He played minor lacrosse in New Westminster form 1964 to 1975, and one of his highlights was winning the Midget "A" Provincials and the Midget scoring title. He was also named the MVP for the Midget Provincials.

Rob played in the New Westminster Junior Salmonbellies organization from 1976 to 1981. His team won the Intermediate "A" Provincials and they were the Canadian Gold Medal Champions.

He also played for the Coquitlam Senior Adanacs from 1982 to 1986, Canada's National Team from 1979 to 1982 and North Carolina State University Division 1 Varsity 1980 to 1982.

Rob has won several individuals awards during his lacrosse career, Intermediate Scoring title, Junior "A" scoring title, Junior "A" All Star team, Game MVP Minto Cup 1980, 1st Pick overall in 1981 Senior "A" draft, WLA Rookie of the year, WLA All Star Team.
