'Bellies Sign Dickson

New Westminster Salmonbellies General Manager Doug Zack has announced that the 'Bellies have signed free agent player Curtis Dickson.

Dickson was the most coveted British Columbia Junior A Lacrosse League free agent available for the 2009 season.

Prior to sitting out the 2007 season, the 6'2" 190 lb. Dickson had starred with the PoCo Saints of the BCJALL. In 2007 Curtis scored 12 goals and 24 assists in 12 league games and added 10 goals and 8 assists in 5 play-off games. His best statistical year was 2006 when he scored 40 goals and added 25 assists in 20 league games and a remarkable 23 goals and 16 assists in 13 play-off games.

Dickson will join the 'Bellies after the completion of the NCAA Division 1 University of Delaware Blue Hens field lacrosse season. At Delaware, Curtis is a key player for the #20 ranked Blue Hens and was a nominee for the Tewaaraton Trophy as the top men's player in the NCAA.
