BCJALL reschedules game for Stealth playoff tilt
Langley, BC (Tuesday, May 2, 2017) In partnership with the Vancouver Stealth’s first playoff game in the Langley Events Centre, BCJALL President Karl Christiansen announced today that the league will be rescheduling their Saturday May 6th game.
“We are blacking out our game and are encouraging our fans, teams and staff to attend the Stealth game and to support them in their first playoff game here in the Lower Mainland,” said Karl Christiansen. “I would like to thank both the Delta Islanders’ President Darcy Phillips and Port Coquitlam Saints’ President Reg Thompson in supporting this initiative. The partnership we have with the Vancouver Stealth in their support of the BC Junior A Lacrosse League is outstanding. Doug and his team have been great to work with over the past few years and we just felt it was the right thing to do in supporting them.”
The Vancouver Stealth are encouraging their fans to wear black Stealth gear to blackout the Colorado Mammoth. The game will take place on Saturday, May 6, 2017, at 7:00pm. The Langley Events Centre’s doors open at 5:30pm.
“It is extremely gratifying to know we have the support of the BC lacrosse community and it’s no more apparent than the statement made today,” said Vancouver Stealth President and General Manager Doug Locker. “I want to say THANK YOU to the Port Coquitlam and Delta Junior A Lacrosse teams and to Karl Christiansen, Commissioner and President of the BCJALL for rescheduling their game. We are all one lacrosse community in British Columbia and we appreciate the support in our efforts to bring the NLL Champion’s Cup to our Province.”
The game between the Delta Islanders and Port Coquitlam Saints has been rescheduled to May 24th, at 8:00pm inside the Ladner Leisure Centre in Support of the Vancouver Stealth.
