#1. Coquitlam Adanacs (14-3): Sound and structured the Adanac train rolls on. While their 9 game winning streak was snapped on the island at the hands of the recently reloaded Shamrocks they are still the team to beat. Well coached, with timely shooting and a very athletic back gate Coquitlam remains in the top spot.

#2. Victoria Shamrocks (12-5): No team has made a bigger splash on the road to the deadline than the 'Rocks. Adding Vela, Klarich, and Richmond gives them plenty of scoring power on paper. But will the new faces all help in time to beat a team like Coquitlam? The back gate also remains with question marks and despite beating Coquitlam this past Saturday they were heavily outshot. If Adam Bland can continue on that type of path in net though that makes Victoria a lot scarier.

#3. Nanaimo Timbermen (10-6): Its become apparent that this young team has the heart of a lion. Despite not having many names you may recognize this is a team that believes and plays a fast aggressive brand of lacrosse. Lead by really strong seasons by Arsenault and Bowman in terms of production and strong smart back gate Nanaimo is a definite contender to drive all the way down the road to the Minto in Edmonton.

#4. Port Coquitlam Saints (9-7-1): Big time wins over Burnaby and New West over the last week solidified Poco as a playoff team. Boosted by a great start the Saints have seen players like Baretto Jr and Josh Mills really step up to give them more scoring punch. Another feisty hard working team Poco is well on their way to their best season in quite some time.

#5. New West Salmonbellies (5-11): Despite hitting the wall Friday night in Port Coquitlam, a game that knocked them out of playoff contention, the Bellies have been impressive this season. In about just every game regardless of opponent they've bounced back after a season where they completely blew up the roster. If New West can shore up some more holes within the roster, they have a nucleus and plenty of draft picks to build around and could easily find themselves back in the playoffs in 2024. Something hardly anyone would have been saying a year ago.

#6. Burnaby Lakers (7-10): It was really looking like the Lakers were gonna be that 4th and final playoff team with an offense to be feared. But some really disappointing losses over the past couple of weeks knocked them out of contention. As a result they sold off three players to Victoria, including leagues leading scorer Marcus Klarich and sniper Thomas Vela. With the Lakers now looking towards the future you have to think they look to address fixing their back gate and goaltending situation moving forward.

#7. Langley Thunder (5-11-1): Langley has been much better down the stretch once the likes of Malawsky returned to the offense. Stuart Phillips remains one of the league's best players but the Thunder lost way too much this past offseason to be a playoff team. Watch out for the Thunder to be active in terms of moves as we are only three days away from the deadline and they've been quiet so far on that front.

#8. Delta Islanders (4-13): The Islanders would be the first to tell you this season has been one to forget. Expectations were so much higher at the beginning of the season with many pegging Delta as the #3 seed but things never got on track. Now the Islanders find themselves selling off Ben McDonald and Silas Richmond to western contenders. A big draft and off season await the guys from Ladner.

*Teams are ranked by their peers every week 1-7, teams don't rank themselves. Check back every week for an updated version as we move towards the Minto Cup.
