by Owen Munro

BOB REID MEMORIAL AWARD

OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENT

This award goes to the individual who has contributed the most to his team by his outstanding achievement on the floor during the season (i.e., setting records, in assists, in goals or goalie records)

CONNOR ROBINSON, NEW WESTMINSTER SALMONBELLIES

Connor Robinson was again one of the best players in the league night in and night out for New West, scoring 130 points in the regular season. It was an epic cap to one of the best five-year junior careers we've seen in recent BCJALL history. He's proved almost everything along the way, except maybe win a Minto Cup; but he will surely be a high pick in the NLL and WLA Drafts.

Robinson had three 10-point games this season, torching Victoria, Nanaimo and Burnaby for a combined 30 points (9 G, 21 A). He also produced against some of the league's top competition, putting up 16 points in three games against Coquitlam. He's off to a good start in these playoffs as well, scoring 15 points in a three-game sweep of Port Coquitlam.

Heading into his final BCJALL playoffs, nothing would be a better cap to Robinson's career than a trip to the Minto Cup. He's still being recognized for having an outstanding season with numerous accomplishments along the way.
