BCJALL AWARDS: Robinson picks up Graduating Player

by Owen Munro

JOHN URBAN AWARD

GRADUATING PLAYER

This player should have combined ability, sportsmanship and be an all around contributor to the continued growth of his club. His contribution to the league and minor lacrosse should be taken into consideration.

CONNOR ROBINSON, NEW WESTMINSTER SALMONBELLIES

It feels like we just wrote about Connor Robinson winning an award just yesterday - until we realized that was no typo. Robinson has been recognized for the second time in as many days for being honoured with Graduating Player award.

Besides having one of the best on-floor performances in a season in BCJALL history, Robinson is the leader of the Salmonbellies in many ways. He's always given his teams chances to win by generating consistent offence, and he's always been the type of player who is going to leave everything on the floor. That type of enthusiasm and pride for the sport and team hasn't gone unrecognized.

There are many players who should be in contention for this honour, as it's all about giving back, which the lacrosse community is very good at. Connor has been an excellent ambassador for the team in the community, is the team's heart-and-soul captain, and his contributions to the game of lacrosse often extend beyond the floor.

Wherever Connor moves on to, whether it's in the WLA or the NLL, his determination and will to win will rub off and help Connor contribute immediately.

Congratulations to Connor on the award.
