BCJALL announces 2016 playoff format

The BC Junior A Lacrosse League announced today a new Playoff format for the 2016 Season.

"The Board of Governors recognized the competitiveness of the League and its teams," said President and Commissioner of the BCJALL Karl Christiansen.

This years playoffs will feature a Wild Card Playoff Series between the 4^th and 5^th place teams. This Wild Card playoff is in recognition of how hard teams are working, and how close the competition level is.The series will be a best of 3 series.

In the second round, the 1^st place team will play the winner of the Wild Card, while 2^nd place will play 3^rd place in a best of 7 series. Both winners of the second round will move on to the League Championship in a best of 3 Series, but just as important, both finalists will represent the BC Junior A Lacrosse League in the 2016 Minto Cup being held at the Langley Events Centre from August 19-29.
