A's Announce Significant Additions to Club

The Coquitlam Adanacs are pleased to announce two very significant additions to the organization for the 2013 Season as they look to defend their British Columbia Junior A Lacrosse League and Playoff Championship title.

Tosh Nishimura, General Manager of the Coquitlam Junior Adanacs Club, is extremely pleased to announce that Neil Doddridge will be assuming the Head Coach position effective immediately.

No stranger to the Box Lacrosse circuit, Coach Doddridge has cemented his legacy at all levels of Amateur and Professional Lacrosse during his famed career. Born in Clarkson, Ontario, Neil now calls West Vancouver home along with his 6 year old son, Liam. Liam's Godfather is none other than John Tavares.

As a player, Neil's resume includes a Founders Cup Championship with Mississauga Tomahawks, 2 Silver Medals with Team Canada, 7 Mann Cup Championships with Brampton/Six Nations/Victoria, Brogden Cup Championship, 2 Professional World Championships with Detroit/Buffalo, and a Presidents Cup with Ladner Pioneers.

Once retired from playing, Neil furthered his lacrosse resume as the Director of Scouting for the NLL's Minnesota Swarm from 2006-2011. In 2010, the Coquitlam Senior "A" Adanacs hired Neil to lead their squad in the WLA circuit.

"We are very excited about Coach Doddridge joining the Junior Adanacs Club. His resume speaks for itself and we look forward to getting back to work preparing for the upcoming Draft and season. On behalf of the entire Adanac Organization, I want to extend our sincerest appreciation and acknowledgement to outgoing Head Coach, Neil Dinsdale. As our first Head Coach under the new Management, Coach Dinsdale won the BCJALL League and Playoff title and took us to the final game in the Minto Cup Championship winning a Silver Medal in 2012. I would also like to thank Assistant Coaches Jim McIntosh, Mike Krgovich and Jordan Ditchfield for their tireless commitment to our program."

On top of the Head Coach announcement, General Manager Tosh Nishimura is also extremely pleased to announce that Kevin Hill will be joining the Junior Adanacs Organization as the Club's Goalie Coach and Director of Scouting.

Hailing from Six Nations Ontario, Kevin has enjoyed a lengthy playing career as a Goalie including Junior "A" with Six Nations including a Minto Cup Series finalist, Senior "A" with the Coquitlam Adanacs and Senior "B" with the Ladner Pioneers. Success has found Kevin having won Top Goaltender awards in 2008, 2010, 2011 and also winning MVP in 2011 in the Senior "B" ranks.

The BCJALL circuit is also familiar territory for Kevin as a Coach with the Burnaby Junior Lakers from 2008-2011. Currently serving as the Western Scout for the defending NLL League Champion Rochester Knighthawks.

"Kevin is a great addition to our Club and his connections within the Lacrosse community are unmeasurable. I am looking forward to working closely with Kevin as we prepare for the inaugural 2013 Junior "A" Draft in January 2013 and preparing for our upcoming season."
