A's add 2 Assistant Coaches
The Coquitlam Junior Adanacs are extremely pleased to announce the appointment of 2 Assistant Coaches to join Head Coach Neil Doddridge. Effective immediately, Dane Dobbie and Jon Harnett will be assuming Coaching roles with the Junior "A" Adanacs.
Both Head Coach Doddridge and General Manager Tosh Nishimura are extremely excited about this announcement. The Junior Adanacs have a winning legacy in BC Junior "A" Lacrosse and the addition of Dobbie running the Offense and Harnett running the Defense will help set the bar extremely high for Junior "A" Lacrosse in BC.
Currently a Coquitlam resident, Dobbie played his Minor Lacrosse back East with the Elora Mohawks and after 3 years of Junior "B", made his way West to play Junior "A" with the Burnaby Lakers. With 3 visits to the Minto Cup and 1 Minto Cup win with Burnaby, he was drafted by the Calgary Roughnecks of the NLL also winning a Championship with Calgary in 2009. In 2008 the Coquitlam Senior A Adanacs drafted Dobbie where he continues to play. As a Coach, Dane helped lead the 2012 Coquitlam Intermediate "A" team.
Jon Harnett is no stranger to the Coquitlam Lacrosse scene as a current member of the Coquitlam Senior "A" Adanacs. Harnett is entering his 3rd year with the Senior A's after having an extremely successful Junior career with the Orangeville Northmen having won the Minto Cup in 2008 and 2009. Harnett is currently playing his 5th season in the NLL, having played his first 2 years with the Boston Blazers and the last 3 years with the Calgary Roughnecks. Jon has also coached in the Minor levels with Orangeville and is eager to bring his winning pedigree and intensity to the Junior "A" Adanacs.
